Cupcake and Pirate Charm

December 19, 2010

We are so happy to introduce to you our new team character hosts: Princess Cupcake and Pirate Charm.

Princess Cupcake is a beautiful princess from a far, far, far away land. She was about to get married to a horrible, terrible, despicable man, when she falls madly in love with a peasent. She did not know the peasant was in reality a pirate who helped the people from the village that where held prisoners by the evil future king….

Our characters were inspired by Robin Hood, Zorro and the Princess Bride.  The film, the Princess Bride,  is an enactment of the following story read by a sick boy’s grandfather (Falk) as the boy (Savage) sits in bed listening, framed and occasionally interrupted by scenes of the reading.
A beautiful young woman named Buttercup (Wright) lives on a farm in the fictional country of Florin.
Whenever she orders the farmhand Westley (Elwes) to do chores for her, he complies and answers “As you wish.”
Eventually she realizes he loves her and admits her love for him.  Watch a trailer of the movie from the 80’s:

Handsome Pirate Charm plays games with the kids. We can even recreate a fun jail where they are brought in. To get out, they have to either be rescued by friends, comply to a princess wish or perform a task for Pirate Charm.

Children will love to perform and play a variety of games at your next party.

A long chat with a Princess….

December 18, 2010

Very few times does a girl have the opportunity to have a one to one chat with a Real Princess…..

So if you are in town visiting and want to avoid the huge lines at Disney, but still want your son or daughter to have a one to one chat with a Real Princess, just let us  know and our Sweet Princess Valentine will go to a Restaurant, Park or Hotel Lobby and meet with the family to have breakfast and chat. Our Prince Charming, musketeers, fairies or pirates are also interested in meeting with the family.

If you are having a Party for your child, let us know if you would like the Birthday girl to  spend a little more time talking to Princess Valentine, we will gladly incorporate it to the party script.

We have found girls have the most interesting questions they want to ask princesses. And our Sweet Princess Valentine is all ears.

For example, kids are surprised to know that a Princess Job is not always easy, that they too can be uncomfortable around friends at times, how you can get the positive out of every situation…. etiquette, fashion, hair styling……well, so much to talk about, so little time.

Sweet Princesses and Valiant Knights

November 3, 2010

Hear Ye!  Hear Ye!

All Princesses and Knights from across the land,

you are invited to a Royal event that is truly grand!

There will be costumes galore, red carpets and more

So reserve your place today for

PRINCESS  AZIA’S  4TH  ROYAL BALL!

This is sweet Princess Azia. She is curious and vibrant. A charming and vivacious hostess. In this picture, she is  proudly wearing the gift that Princess Valentine brought for her all the way from Venice. Jewelery of course. She brought it wrapped up on a heart shaped tin box.  A Special gift for a very special princess.

The princesses and knights were all having dinner at their beautifully decorated table….

Individual place cards greeted princess Azia’s guests..

Perfect sized tables, chairs, plates, tea cups, and glassware. The perfect meal, the perfect ball when they were suddenly interrupted…

In comes a doncella with a valiant musketeer. “I must speak with princess Azia at once!” he demanded while she inspected the place to make sure it was appropriate for Princess Valentine.

Something was missing, a golden magic mirror with pigeons on top for the princesses to sing while they watched their Royal transformation.

Music, Fanfare Please, our Royal Princess is arriving…

A royal Backdrop suit for a Wonderful Princess!

Throwing kisses at the magical Fountain:

Paying attention to Princess Valentine’s story. We all  learned it is OK to make mistakes once in a while, everybody makes them. But when you do, lessons can be learned and new and wonderful opportunities may arise.

Our Valiant knights, also learned about the value and responsibility of becoming a Knight on a training for a day!

More pictures:

Our princess was delighted with her party. Princess Valentine, Sir Edward and myself were very happy to join her at this wonderful Royal Ball.

Thank you so much Princess Azia for giving us so many special moments with you and your guests  in the auspicious occasion of your 4th Birthday. We also want to thank Queen Krissy for allowing us share this pictures with all of you.

Blue Spark in Osceola County

May 7, 2010

We were invited to participate on a Partners for Education family picnic. We shared great moments with the kids and their families at beautiful Chisholm PArk Trail in Saint Cloud, FL.

We got there early to put our tent and face painting in place and Blue Spark flew there  and was a great hit with children.

A line of kids waiting for face-painting!

Blue Spark was magical she played around and did face painting on some kids.  Butterfly masks were their favorite, we had a couple of dragons, snakes and spidermans too.

Thankyou Judy for having us at the Park. We had a terrific time and the kids did too!

Quinceañera’s Princess Day

May 5, 2010

Remember this castle? Remember the feelings you experienced when you first saw it?

That huge sigh that come to children when they experience their Magical dream come true.

If ever since you were a little girl you have been dreaming of being a Princess for one day.  This might be the perfect theme for you.

Watch this video to see how many lights took to set up the Castle in the park……. A lot!!!!!

200,000 lights!!  Yes, that many lights!

This is what makes it so magical. If you are considering this theme for your Quinceañera, theatrical lighting is a must!  The light effects is what sets the mood to the party. You can add a very special effect with candles and a variety of  flowers on the Centerpieces or on hanging ornaments and arches. Soft fabrics and a tent effect will also give it a special touch.

We are not too fond of working with balloons for this theme, but if you absolutely love them, recreate arches and add Christmas-like net lights to create a more dramatic effect.

Recreate your entrance on a Magical Carriage or have one staged near the cake. You can also project your favorite childhood memories with your parents or friends and have this projection at a Stage Castle.

Your cake can be in the form of a Cinderella style Carriage or a castle.  You can also recreate your favorite scene from a Princess Movie like a magical garden with enchanted trees or a flower trapeze. Another favorite is a Far east castle with genies and magical carpets.

If you love the Princess idea, but have a more contemporary taste, have stars dancing around on the dance floor and concentrate on the Centerpieces for the wanted effect; this can be a combination of high candelabras or vases and low for some tables. The table cloth must have a dreamy cover with big decorated laces on the chairs.

Remember the color of your dress can also set the tone with the decor.

Music will also be important. Choose the tunes you want to be played by the band or DJ and give your planner the list so she can coordinate ahead of time. Mention your favorite flowers, colors and show her your dress choice.

Your party must entertain and be fun to your guests but most importantly, it will display your taste and personality and you must have fun before, while planning the details, during when you and your family and friends enjoy it and after, when you review the pictures.

Good photography and video is a must and it is better done by professionals.

FIVE TOP BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS FOR GIRLS AGES 1-6

April 12, 2010

Looking for a fun  birthday party theme idea for little girls?

Here is the list of our Top five:

Princess Party

On the top of our list is of course, the princess theme. Ask your little girl, who is her favorite princess, you can have the theme of the party on that one princess or combined. Invite in all princesses and princes to come. Ask the girls to come dressed up as their favorite princess or have a company bring in dresses for your guests. Girls love to dress up in costumes, have a princess make over, make-up, nails.

You can also combine this princess party with Royal Tea.

Remember to create games that are age appropriate.

Add to your Princess theme, decorations and a character princess. If you do have a character come to your girl’s party, discuss before with her what she does with the girls. Hippojoy offers the opportunity of a princess talk one on one with the girls. Some topics of interest for mom: Sleeping time on time, good manners at the table, the beauty within every princess. Girls listen to another princess’s advice.

What to do with a few princes that must attend. Prepare king crowns and a couple of all inclusive games like pass the magic slipper or royal sword. (A variation of hot potato, when the music stops, whoever has the slipper or sword has to leave the game, the last one standing is the winner.

Fairy Party

Girls jump up and down with the magic of fairies. Have one magically appear at your next fairy party. Provide each girl with tutus, wands and costume made tiaras. Or prepare children a craft where they create their own. You can combine this fairy party with a magical garden tea. Serve a couple of sweet and salad treats and tea can consist on pink lemonade served on flowery tea pots.

Dance Party

Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap or Salsa?

If your girl is into dancing, why not create a fabulous dance class with a Real ballerina or dancer?  Girls will love to follow to the music, choreography and steps. At the end you can invite the parents to watch the show.

You can choose the dance of your preference or have a little of each style.

Diva, Fashion Show

Does your girl love to play with her Barbie or Bratz dolls and dress them up? Is she into fashion? Explore her inner Diva with a Diva/fashion show party. The highlight of this event is when she and her guests walk the runway. Have a character Diva Host Announce them like in a real fashion show!

Mom Tea Party and Scrapbooking

If your child is one to even pack for her baby doll and loves to carry her around in her carriage or stroller. Invite her friends to a my doll and me Tea Party.

Make sure you put in the invitations that baby dolls are welcome too. Have extra babies in case someone forget hers.

Create a table setting where the playing moms can look after their baby dolls. You can serve tea (pink lemonade) and cookies.

Tea Parties are excellent to chit chat. Invite a Character Host like Miss Rose who can teach the kids some table manners while she creates basic crafts like Scrapbooking with the girls.
